Every pre-owned Tesla vehicle has passed a 102-point inspection and is covered by a Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty, in addition to any coverage remaining from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty. An AutoCheck history report is also available for all pre-owned Tesla vehicles.

*Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty terms
Tesla pre-owned vehicles are covered by the remainder of 4 years or 50,000 miles left on the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty. After expiration, the Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty provides additional coverage of 1 year or 10,000 miles. If the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty has already expired, the Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty provides coverage of 1 year or 10,000 miles, starting from your delivery date. The balance of the original Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty still applies for pre-owned vehicles.

*Vehicle condition at delivery
Every pre-owned Tesla vehicle has passed an internal inspection and may undergo light repairs to be prepared for sale. Cosmetic imperfections and normal wear and tear indicative of the age and mileage of the vehicle should be expected. Model 3 and Model Y vehicles less than 4 years old with fewer than 50,000 miles, as well as all Model S and Model X vehicles, may exhibit cosmetic wear including markings, discoloration, small tears or stains up to 2 inches on upholstery or interior panels; Model 3 and Model Y vehicles more than 4 years old or over 50,000 miles receive limited cosmetic reconditioning.

*Aftermarket tint exclusion
Certain pre-owned vehicles may have aftermarket tints installed by a third party on the roof, rear glass and rear windows; aftermarket tints are not covered by Tesla warranties.

*Open recalls
Pre-owned Tesla vehicles may be sold with open recalls requiring future repairs, which can be addressed by making a service appointment at a Tesla Service Center.
